Introduction and Meaning:

In terms of digital audio, a signal processor is a device that does the job of modifying an audio signal, both digital and electric. It could be a computer software or a component of electronic hardware. A simple example of a signal processor is a high-pass filter, which helps in eliminating low frequencies from any given signal.
If they are carefully used, they may contribute to the sound fidelity, and can sometimes better reality.

Introduction and Meaning:

Usually, an amplifier is any device that changes or affects change on the amplitude of any given signal. The relation of the input and the output of the amplifier (generally termed as the function of an input frequency) is known as the transfer function of an amplifier. The unit of the transfer function is known as the gain. In terms of audio appliances, an amplifier drives the loud speakers that are used in the PA systems to play music or magnify the human voice.

Noise reduction is a process in which the noise is removed from any given signal. Techniques for noise reduction are theoretically very alike in spite of the signal being processed. However, a complete understanding of the characteristics of a predictable signal could mean the utilization of these techniques differ significantly on the basis of the type of signal.

Equalization is a process in which either active or passive electronic elements are used for fulfilling the purpose of altering the frequency response characteristics of any given system. Though the term, Equalization is used in under many contexts, it generally points towards amplitude equalization. But there are other significant types of equalization. They are time-delay and phase equalizations. Spatial directivity equalization is another type of equalization.
